Army Sgt. Nicholas A. Robertson, 27, of Old Town, Maine
Sgt. Robertson was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne), Fort Bragg, N.C.; died April 3, 2008 at the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Germany, of wounds sustained while conducting dismounted combat operations in the Zahn Khan District, Afghanistan.
Maine has lost another soldier fighting in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The Department of Defense says 27 year old Sergeant Nicholas A. Robertson of Old Town died on Thursday April 3rd.
Robertson died at the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany from wounds suffered while conducting a combat mission in the Zahn Khan District of Afghanistan.

Robertson graduated from the University of Maine before enlisting in the Army in 2005. He was on his second tour of duty in Afghanistan.
He is survived by his parents and two brothers.
Army Sgt. Nicholas A. Robertson was killed in action on 4/3/08.
