Early Monday afternoon, Samuels’ MySpace.com page had 42 messages offering love and prayers for her family and friends dating back to August 16. Several of the messages called her “Noodle” and “Lady P.”

One message remembered her as a woman with a beautiful spirit and a strong personality who “always made me see the good side of things [and] laugh at stuff that I didn’t think I could laugh at.”

Samuels graduated from Charles Herbert Flowers High School in Springdale, Md., in 2003, Prince George’s County schools spokesman John White said.
